“In an era of thin voices and wispy emotions, Kristi King’s mature sound and approach to a song is refreshing, indeed. We believe her no matter what she sings, a song by Aretha Franklin or one by Doris Day. She reminds us of the songs we love and the singers who sang them. But, like a true pro, she interprets, never imitates."
J. Merrill, producer, NPR’s Jazz Profiles.

KRISTI KING
has been a professional singer since she was nine years old and performed for the first time in her home town of Portland, Oregon. For more about Kristi as a child star,  click here.
