Connie Francis Tribute Show

Connie Francis was amazingly successful as a singer and sometimes actress. She began singing as a child and at the age of 14 was on the Arthur Godfrey Show. In fact, it was Godfrey who suggested she change her Italian name to Connie Francis.

She became known as the "Queen of Song," and was the No. 1 female singer of the 1960s with several No. 1 hits: "Where the Boys Are," "Stupid Cupid," and "Who's Sorry Now?," among others.

She was the first female singer to top the Hot 100 chart. Her hit "Where the Boys Are" was the inspiration for a teen movie about spring break with Francis in the cast. She subsequently appeared in several teen movies She was a trailblazer in that she was the first popular singer to record in other languages.

She retired in 2018 and just last year her hit song "Pretty Little Baby" went viral on TikTok, reestablishing her as the Queen of Song. She passed away in July 2025.

Songs include: "Where the Boys Are," "Stupid Cupid," "Who’s Sorry Now, and "Pretty Little Baby."

Kristi premiered the show at the Joslyn Center in October, and it was immediately added to the '60s Legends tour which is booked for 10 shows in February.
